Dalhousie
University and the University of King's College are situated in the
south end of Halifax. They are about 20 minutes
(brisk) walk from the railway station, about 10-15 minutes from hotels
(such as
the Lord Nelson) and restaurants
in the heart of downtown Halifax, and about 15 minutes from the Halifax
harbour
ferry. Rooms are often available
at a very reasonable price at the Dalhousie University residences. See Howe Hall
on
the Dalhousie University campus, which is a two minute walk to the
conference venue
at the University of King’s College. Current
rates for a single room is $44/night
CAN while a twin room is $68/night CAN. |

Lord Nelson Hotel |
A limited number of rooms at the Lord Nelson Hotel have been blocked for the conference (they will be released on June 7). If you would like to book your room at the Lord Nelson at the Conference rate ($165/night), use the Conference's Group ID 19632.
